This is a gem of a place, fantastic rooms, beautiful period property, stunning views of countryside, staff are amazing, so helpful, polite and professional but friendly and accommodating. Food in the restaurant is fabulous, you could tell products were excellently sourced, local fresh ingredients, our meals were delicious (I'm a very fussy eater and I ate it all), had been cooked from scratch, top quality home made food was so welcoming when you go to so many places now where it's all processed/ready made microwave meals. We're not often in Petersfield as we live in London but we would definitely return here at the earliest opportunity, highly recommended!

Very warm and friendly welcome with a nothing is too much trouble attitude - could not have been better. The room was modern and well maintained and clean and a decent size. The beds and linen were good quality and comfy. It was quiet and peaceful. The room was well heated and also had good opening windows to allow a cooler temperature to suit us. The restaurant food was excellent value for money with a selection of decent pub grub at very reasonable prices. As a whole experience it was well above expectations and we would definitely recommend and return.

Friendly welcome. Very clean in the public areas and the bedroom. Very comfy bed and good sized room and bathroom. Good quality coffee machine in the room with a range of coffee pods. Simple check-in and check-out. Biker friendly. I was able to park behind the hotel on hard-standing which was safer for my bike. The free self-service breakfast provided a great variety of choice of items as well as tea, coffee, fruit juice and water which gave us a very good start to the day.

Inclusive basic serve yourself continental breakfast. Nice country walks from doorstep. 30mins to Chichester. Self check in, in fact we never saw a single member of staff during our 2 night stay, but there was clear details how to contact one if needed. Suited us! Bar/restaurant not open Sun or Mon.

Everything was clean and fresh and dinner at the pub was delish! The free continental breakfast had everything and more you could wish for. This was our 2nd visit here and we’ll def be back! Thank you Charle and Natasha
