What a lovely warm welcome from the landlord. When I realised my room was in the attic and would be problematic for me having a bad hip, the landlord kindly moved me to a ground floor room. The room was extremely spacious and immaculately clean. I had an evening meal in the bar and my little dogs were able to join me. The food was delicious and good value for money. The complimentary breakfast was much appreciated and more than adequate to set me up for the day. I stay in lots of hotels across the country and can honestly say this was definitely one of my better experiences. The landlord goes above and beyond in being helpful and friendly. There wasn't anything to dislike at all and exceptional value for money. I shall definitely return if ever in the area again

My son and I were looking for somewhere in this area to stay as we had been invited to a birthday event locally. We were so pleased to discover this lovely place and booked for the weekend. What a find! Super friendly staff, very welcoming and we loved our room. Spotless. Very impressed with the coffee machine!! We enjoyed the food and hospitality. Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the future sometime. Thank you Chris and team.

Friendly welcome. Very clean in the public areas and the bedroom. Very comfy bed and good sized room and bathroom. Good quality coffee machine in the room with a range of coffee pods. Simple check-in and check-out. Biker friendly. I was able to park behind the hotel on hard-standing which was safer for my bike. The free self-service breakfast provided a great variety of choice of items as well as tea, coffee, fruit juice and water which gave us a very good start to the day.

The room was very spacious and very comfortable. You don’t deal with anyone, you get a text with your code to enter property and room. We have not seen anyone apart when we went to the quiet pub and ordered some food. You can get coffee and tea in the room and as well in the breakfast area. They let us get some milk in the evening for my toddler which was very convenient.
